What are they?
TOPICS is a two hour long session in which you get to teach a small group of multi grade students something that you know well, and care about…
From yoga to bird house building,
From knitting to painting,
Science to writing–
The options are endless!!
November TOPICS session: Grades 1-4, November 6th from 1–3 PM
Arrive early to set up and sign in at the office.
Recess break from 1:50–2:10 pm.
We need 8 or more adults for each TOPIC session this year!
Teachers and other TOPS staff teach TOPICS each session, too!
How to Sign Up to Teach–
December 11 Theme: International Human Rights
Fill out a TOPICS form by Tuesday, November 24th and place it in Tracy's box or send an email.
Include the title of your TOPIC, short description, grades you will teach (consider all grades, 1st - 4th) number of students, materials or equipment needed.

Who Can Teach?
The teaching of a TOPIC is open to Kindergarten through eighth grade parents, other family members, friends, community members, staff at TOPS and alumni of TOPS!
Ideas, Different Approaches Are Welcome!
If you are unable to teach a TOPIC but have ideas for TOPICS, send me an email with the title and description. You might choose to teach with your child as an assistant or an adult.
